First, La Corda D'oro is basically about a girl who met this fairy and then the fairy gave her a magic violin and TA-DAA!! She knows how to play the violin. And they had this music school competition thingy. Where it introduce her to these 5 super cute guys who are musical talented as well!! They all fell in love with her music and her as well. I would have to conclude that the storyline was okay but the ending was bad. Because it didn't show us(the viewers) which guy did the girl choose to be with. Never the less, the one thing that I really I really love about this anime is the fact that the characters in this anime are truly passionate and in love with the instrument that they play and that they love Classical Music. With all the emotions going on in this anime. You are bound to feel it too. (for me only I guess, not sure if it works on you guys).
Nodame Cantabile is about this girl name Megumi Nodame who is super duper annoying. Know why I say that? Because she is in love with this guy name Shinichi Chiaki who is also musically talented and she keeps proclaiming that he is her boyfriend or husband(which the guy doesn't even like her and they are not together at all). She drives him crazy but at the end he fell in love with her music and with her. He doesn't really show much of his emotions towards her in the first season. He shows more of it in the second season which is not out yet in Animax but is out in stores. Which I have already bought and watched! WAHAHAHAHA.. I would like to conclude that this is an extremely funny anime. It isn't really musically inspiring as of La Corda D'oro but it really inspires a musician to play more and to practice more.
Here are the opening theme for these two animes. Enjoy! ;)
This is La Corda D'oro
This is Nodame Cantabile.
Loves,
Emelia =)
